More than just a “Fresh Coat of Paint”
I’m going to start with a confession. I used to think of branding this way. A new logo, colour palette and imagery that you could replace your tired existing visual identity. A quick fix – a fresh coat of paint that you could ‘slap’ on top of your existing material. And, to be honest – that stuff works. To a degree. But if that’s all you’re going to do, you’re missing out on a HUGE opportunity to take your business to the next level.
Because branding goes deeper than that. It encompasses the whole experience that customers have with your company, from their first impression to their ongoing interactions with your products or services.
While it includes things like your company’s logo, name, packaging, and signage – it’s more than that. Far more. It’s at the heart of what you do as an organisation, the reason you exist, and the way you differentiate yourself from your competitors. All of these things work together to create a coherent and memorable image of your company in the minds of your customers.
In an increasingly competitive world, your brand is your secret weapon allowing you to stand out in a crowded marketplace. A strong, coherent brand will give your company an edge over your competition.
If this makes branding seem like a complicated process – well, it can be. But don’t worry. I don’t work like that. I’ll guide you through it, step by step – from strategy to delivery – keeping it as streamlined and simple as possible. You’ll have invested wisely in brand that you’re proud of, revitalising your organisation and engaging your employees. It will appeal to your customers, and make you more competitive in the market. And, yes, I’ll throw in a fresh coat of paint to boot.
In these difficult times, don’t you think your business should be as competitive as possible? Let’s talk.
